When Lindy was just 15 years old, she landed a role on an early episode of the show The Littlest Hobo, which aired on CBS in the late 1980s.
When the show ended in 2002, Lindy, who had starred as a teenager on The Beverly Hillbillies and a 17-year-old on the teen comedy show How I Met Your Mother, landed an agent.
“It was such a shock,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.
“I’m sitting there, and I’m sitting in a chair, and my mother is sitting next to me.
And I’m looking at her like, ‘Why?’
She’s like, I’m just a little girl and I can’t imagine what that must be like to have an agent who knows how to read a resume.”
Lindy soon landed another TV gig in the 1980s, playing an FBI agent on The Good Wife.
In the 1990s, she appeared in the TV movie The Way Way Home, where she played a woman in a mental hospital who had recently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
She was also cast as a mother in the 2009 movie The Little Girl Next Door.
In 2012, Lindys first feature film role was as the wife of an abusive ex-convict in the indie film The House of the Rising Sun.
The following year, she played an FBI profiler on The Sopranos.
Lindy is also a frequent guest on The View.
“She’s just so wonderful,” said former House of Cards cast member David Chase.
“And so much fun to work with.”
“I loved the show so much,” added actress Kerry Washington.
“This is one of the only people I know who can actually read your resume.”
Now 27, Lindytimes credits The Litter Room with saving her career.
“After The Litty Room, I was like, Oh, man, I need to change my career path,” she said.
“The Litter Rooms, just being able to work and be able to be around people who care about you, it was so much easier to go back to the TV and not have to be so focused.”
When The Litchy Room closed in 2015, Lindya and her husband decided to move back to New York City and pursue a career in acting.
“One of the biggest things for me was just to just find myself, and this is what I’m doing now,” Lindy said.
With The Litten Room, she added, “I didn’t have to think about my career.
“Just the fact that I had someone who understood my needs. “
In my case, it wasn’t like I had to change anything,” she continued.
“Just the fact that I had someone who understood my needs.
That’s just what you need in this industry.
That was what I really wanted. “
There was a huge difference between being on a TV show and being on an independent movie.
That was what I really wanted.
I wanted to just have fun, be a part of something bigger.”
Lindys role in The Little Room has made her a household name, and she has appeared in dozens of other films.
“Lindy’s the girl next door, and everyone loves her,” said actor Chris Pratt.
“You can’t get more Littles than her.”
In 2017, she also appeared in The Night Shift, which also starred Lena Dunham and Amy Poehler.
“They were a great fit,” said actress Olivia Munn.
“He’s such a smart, funny guy, and he was really fun to play.”
