An Eagles team that is in the midst of an offseason of turnover and uncertainty are looking to secure a new home.FOX Sports Insider Chris Mortensen reports the Eagles are exploring the possibility of a relocation to Los Angeles, with some reports indicating the team could make the move before the start of the 2017 NFL season.
While the team is currently located in Philadelphia, Mortensen notes the team has a handful of potential landing spots in L.A. and Philadelphia.
The Eagles will have a full offseason of offseason work ahead of them.
According to Mortensen, a relocation is a big possibility.
The team has been searching for a new stadium for a long time and the current deal with Los Angeles has already been extended.
If the team moves to L.E., the franchise could potentially receive the opportunity to host a playoff game and could make a move to another market in the future.
The team is expected to host an event at the Los Angeles Coliseum to announce the news.
The Eagles have also received word that the NFL and the NFLPA are on the same page in terms of their desire to have a new football stadium built for the team.
