Land for rent in the land of Legos is becoming a thing.
The company that makes the plastic bricks that are the basis of Lego Land has launched a new website that lets people rent them.
The company says it offers a rental service that is “for anyone with a need to rent out a piece of their home to others.”
The website includes a map with listings of rental properties and offers a $50 credit for each rental.
Land for Rent also lists an FAQ section that provides a brief overview of the company’s business and the rentals that can be made.
The FAQs include information on how to obtain the rental property and the type of land used.
The rental property can be either privately owned or publicly accessible.
The website was launched in May and offers free rental options, as well as a “boutique” option where rentals are paid for with real estate.
It’s unclear if the company has a plan to add a rental option in the future.
Land For Rent said it was “not currently looking into this.”
It’s possible that the rental company could make a profit off of the rentals, since it doesn’t make money from each rental, but the company isn’t saying.
