A car dealership in Oklahoma is selling new names to reflect its new location and brand identity, with a brand that will feature the brand of a former president.
The Oklahoma City Land Rover dealer will now be called Land Rover America and will be located at the intersection of Northeast Main and East Main Streets, according to a press release.
Land Rover will also have a location in downtown Oklahoma City.
Owner Joe Mancini said in the release that the new name is a recognition of the brand’s roots and history in the state, the Midwest and across the country.
“It is a perfect fit for our community and will bring the brand and our dealership to a new level,” Mancina said.
“I am thrilled to see Land Rover expand its footprint in Oklahoma and bring us one step closer to our mission of helping people around the world enjoy their vehicles.”
Mancini also announced that the dealership will now serve customers from across Oklahoma.
“We’ve seen the tremendous response from customers in Oklahoma, so I’m excited to continue to grow our brand and continue to serve our customers,” he said.
Mancina added that he and his wife, Linda, are working to develop a new name for the dealership.
Land Rover America was founded in 2012 and is the largest automotive dealership in the U.S. with more than 30 dealers in 30 states and Washington, D.C.
