In a recent video interview, Mojang CEO Markus Persson talked about Far Lands and its developers’ efforts to make it accessible to anyone.
Far Lands has been available to everyone for months, with a full version available to purchase for $15.
It’s a fun way to get a taste of the game, which is one of the first games on iOS to feature multiplayer and cross-save support.
It doesn’t look like it will ever come to the iPhone, however.
Far Land’s development has stalled since the app’s beta release in November.
The game has since been removed from the App Store.
Persson said that the team will “continue working on a new version for iOS 10, and hopefully with the launch of the next big platform, hopefully for iOS 11, we’ll be able to deliver a version of Far Lands to Apple devices, with more in the pipeline.”
“We really have a very long way to go,” he said.
